Mrs. Houghton’s Teaching Philosophy:
My personal goal this school year is to challenge and watch my students grow to their full potential. I will accomplish this goal by motivating and encouraging them through supportive lessons and assignments. My classroom will be organized in a way to enhance creativity and provide success in all their learning. I will create a faith-filled classroom environment that will provide a positive and safe atmosphere. All students will be treated with respect and dignity each day in the classroom. In all I believe educators are facilitators that guide a student’s journey to developing the essential skills and knowledge needed to be a successful individual in our worldwide community.
