This is my 32nd year at St. Mary Magdalen School. I began in second grade, but have taught third grade for the last 26 years. I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Study in Depth in Early Childhood Education. My favorite subject to teach at our school is Religion. It a great opportunity to share my faith with my students. I love working with 8 and 9 year old students because they are so enthusiastic about learning new curriculum and have great ideas.
My husband, Doug and I just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. We have two sons. Scott, 34 who works and lives in Seattle. Nick, 30 who works in Seattle and lives in Bothell. This summer our son, Nick was recently married to his wife, Kristin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was a wonderful celebration!
My husband and I are actively involved with our parish, St. Mary Magdalen Church as sacristans. I am also involved with Catholic Daughters and I currently help run the Junior Catholic Daughters for grades 1st through 12th grade. We are both also are active members of Mill Creek Lions club. My hobbies are gardening and scrap booking.
